Born in the Rocky Mountains
Inspired by the adventurous spirit of the Rockies, a group of mountain-loving friends opened the first Smiling Moose in Edwards, Colorado in 2003. Their goal: create a place where guests could enjoy handcrafted food with character, heart, and a hint of mountain attitude.
Our Icon: The Original Mo!
The Original Mo! became a fan favorite from day one — a signature hot sandwich piled with sizzling grilled meat, melted cheese, crisp veggies, and our tangy vinaigrette on a fresh-baked baguette.
The Mo! sparked an entire menu of bold flavors and still ranks as one of our top-ordered sandwiches in every state we serve.
